Leaves and banksia cones scattered about the forest floor
This mural was inspired by a photograph from my Brisbane backyard of the leaves and banksia cones scattered about the forest floor.
This project is made using blue gum veneer which is the local species eaten by koalas in my backyard. The gold leaf covers a sculptural forest floor scene embedded by gemstones, knitted wire, glass beads and fused glass leaves.
