‘Queen Bebebelle’ is my capture of all those wonderful fairytale princesses twirling at the ball. As the Queen Bee she is among her hive and reveling in her amazing honey colored life.

This Queen bee is made with air-dry paper clay and cold porcelain clay. Her skirt is lined with mulberry paper, sculpted bees and hand dyed silk; her black velvet vest is beaded and trimmed in hand colored lace, silk and vintage flowers. With glass eyes and an angora beehive hairstyle, she glides on her ballet heels and is adorned with flowers and Swarovski crystals.
