One-of-a-kind hand sculpted art-doll by Australian artist Dina Goebel.

Part of a series of mini art-dolls, did you know a group of octopus is called a ‘consortium’? The Time Consortium are unique, surreal, half woman – half octopus creatures. Fashionable, colorful and quirky, they bring the fun of doll making and collecting to adults.

This Green Time Gypsy has a wonderful glistening green mica pearl-like skin and a wild blue updo hair studded with mini pearl-like beads. With her chiffon dress and brass starfish she has bright green eyes which are like little jewels themselves. Her treasure chest is a rich blue-gold jewel box and she carries her collection of time pieces everywhere.

The Time Consortium series are made of polymer clay, glistening mica and acrylic paints protected in a UV block varnish. Pieces of fabric, lace, glass beads and jewels adorn these creatures. Just 15cm from top to bottom, and left to right – this is not a child’s toy, rather it is a unique sculpture to be carefully positioned away from direct sunlight for you to enjoy.
