Dina Goebel sculpture artist
That Creative Feeling is Australian sculptor Dina Goebel's creative brand.
Exploring nature’s fragility and the balance between consumerism and conservation.
Dina Goebel is a mixed-media sculptural artist who creates intricate, hybrid works exploring the delicate balance between nature and human impact. Using a mix of natural, recycled, and modern materials, she builds sculptural assemblages that celebrate the beauty of the natural world while reflecting on the consequences of consumer culture.
I am driven to express my view as a consumer concerned about our natural environment. My goal is to push on how we view, interact, protect and blend with our natural world every day.
She has exhibited in Queensland and Victoria and continues to explore new ways to engage audiences through sculptural storytelling. Collectors and viewers are drawn to her work for its combination of imagination, meticulous craftsmanship, and meaningful environmental commentary, making each piece both visually striking and conceptually rich.
Dina’s practice explores themes of conservation, consumerism, and materiality, often combining traditional craft techniques with modern materials to create visually compelling narratives that resonate with both the imagination and conscience.
My work is nature inspired and unique. I like to mix it up .. creating surreal creatures, collecting vintage and dead things, designing gothic home decor and to surround myself in an unique and interesting way.
An artist since childhood, Dina is a professional artist having an established studio and arts business for over 4 decades. Her studio is in South Gippsland, part of regional Victoria in Australia, where she is has refurbished a 150-year-old farm settlers cottage.
