2026 Medium: Resin, pigment, preserved moss, glass dome Edition: 3 Available online and through selected galleries
Native to the waters of southern Australia, including Bass Coast, the weedy seadragon is recreated in translucent resin and individually hand-painted to bring out its extraordinary colour and delicate form. Suspended beneath a glass dome and formally labelled like a preserved museum specimen, it carries the central irony of the series: using contemporary manufacturing to meticulously recreate the natural life we value. Each colourway is a limited edition of three, with subtle variations between specimens.
