Self-Made Relics uses the human figure to anchor the exhibition’s environmental themes in lived experience. Rendered in a restrained, transparent form, the body appears exposed and vulnerable — its construction visible, its fragility unresolved.
Contained within the waste generated through its own making, the figure inhabits consequence rather than escaping it. The work shifts attention from blame to accountability, asking what it means to live within the outcomes of everyday consumption.
