2026 Medium: Resin, acrylic, glass dome Edition: 3 Available online and through selected galleries
Berghia coerulescens is a vividly coloured Mediterranean nudibranch, recreated here in translucent resin and individually hand-painted to capture its brilliant blue cerata and yellow-tipped details. Suspended beneath a glass dome and formally labelled like a preserved museum specimen, the work draws attention to the extraordinary strangeness of marine life while carrying the central irony of the series: using contemporary manufacturing to meticulously reproduce the natural world we value.
