Taxonomies II extends the original series by allowing material to re-enter the dark central field. Marine forms emerge amongst failed prints, support structures and fragments of 3D-printing waste, partially obscuring the scientific taxonomy beneath.
Moving between recognisable organism and synthetic debris, these more sculptural assemblages explore an uneasy ecology in which the distinction between specimen, waste and fabricated form becomes increasingly unstable.
